Completed in 2016, taking approximately 4 months. The main project goals were to improve navigation, match the undergraduate admissions redesign while retaining a mature feel to reflect the audience, and showcase photos of UT Dallas’ campus and student life. Site structure and content remained mostly the same. Ultimately, the updated design improved over 80 critical academic web pages.
Project manager: Set project timeline; planned sitemap and navigation structure; connected marketing’s designer with web software developer to take design from prototype stage to live code; acted as point of contact for admissions, marketing, and web team; created redirect plan to ensure important links remained usable after redesign launch.
